Jerónimo Elespes work and creative process is examined in this richly illustrated monograph featuring numerous works from his oeuvre. Elespe uses his drawings and oil paintings as abstract diaries, wherein he believes that the repetition of cycles found in our domestic routines can actually spur creativity, if channelled in the right way. In his exploration of different pictorial languages, he seemingly compresses time, leaving the observer in a sort of limbo somewhere between a daydream and awakening from a dream.
